Director and Stop Motion Animator
Since graduating from her BFA in Dublin in 2007, Jennifer has worked alongside some of the animation industries best animators, model, puppet, prop and set designers and has gained experience through working on films such as 'Night of the Trampires' and Wes Andersons new stop motion feature 'Isle of Dogs' which will be released April 2018.
Currently she is at the Royal College of Art where she is completing an MA in Experimental Animation where her focus will be on Directing.
Over the years she has taught stop motion aniamtion workshops and due to demand has branched out into puppet building workshops where you will learn the skills required to create professional stop motion puppets which you can use to create your own animations.
This summer in July 2017 there will be a series of these workshops around Ireland and Northern Ireland and those workshops will be...
- Stop Motion Animation Two Day Workshop: Here you will learn all the processes required when creating an animation.
- Wool Puppet Building Two Day Workshop: Here you will learn how to make a wool puppet, a technique which is rarely taught, yet the style can be seen in many new up and coming movies.
- Liquid Latex Puppet Building Two Day Workshop: On this workshop you will learn how to create fully functioning professional latex zombie puppet.
Go to Booking and Contact, see where all the workshops will be taking place and book yourself a place.
As each workshop aims to provide individual tutorials to all participants, workshops will be small so there are limited places on each, so book soon to secure your place.
